DAMAGE SURVEY 101


WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This seminar is designed as a primer for all level Marine Surveyors
who are interested in the business of damage surveying.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is an intensive, full day class which includes presentations with
handouts, case studies and plenty of time for Q & A.  It will
introduce basic concepts of legal and practical issues within the
insurance environment. Basic office, field and reporting practices and
procedures will be covered. This seminar will NOT address marketing
to insurance companies or technical investigation of physical
damages.  

The Seminar Director is Bill Robbins, AMS®, of New England Marine
Survey, LLC.
Bill has 25 years experience working in the  insurance industry.  He
was instrumental in developing the week-long Damage Survey class
at Chapman School and is a licensed adjuster in two states.  He is a
Charter Member, a past Regional Director and past Vice President of
Education of The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors®.   

Other experienced Accredited Marine Surveyors will team-teach
presentations and case studies. The class size is limited to 25, first
come, first served. There will be a review quiz and a Certificate of
Attendance will be awarded.  

This seminar has been approved for
6 CE Credit hours by SAMS.
